Sample Containers
Good housekeeping and tank hygiene starts with regular tank drains for water. Just as important is the regular taking of samples for both visual inspection and testing. Our range of sample containers will assist you in this endeavour.
Before any testing is carried out using the FUELSTAT® Test an inspection of the sample is required because if there is any water in the bottom of the sample, however small (even just a droplet or two), then this water should be removed with the pipette (as supplied with the test) and tested as per FUELSTAT® Instructions and Step-by-Step Guide.
For this reason Fuel Test has chosen a range of sample containers (types and sizes) that best suit the needs of the test user.
The range includes sample containers for the gathering, testing and storage of samples from diesel, biodiesel and aviation fuel tanks.
Tin Sample Containers: 500 ml & 1 Ltr
Glass Sample Bottles: 250 ml, 500 ml & 1 Ltr
(Also used as part of the Fuel Test Sample Extraction Kit)
Note: The FUELSTAT® Test only requires clean equipment free of any past residues. The Glass Sample Bottles can simply be wiped out clean so that they are ready for reuse. No sterilisation of the bottles is required.
PET Clear Plastic Sample Containers: 400 ml with wadded cap
Other sizes can be arranged if required.
Note: All containers are suitable for sample taking and short term storage of diesel and Jet A1 fuel, but local regulations or restrictions may apply for transportation of fuel samples in various types of containers. Please check with your local authority or transport operator.
